We are thrilled to begin the 2025–2026 school year with you. At Gordon Elementary, our dedicated staff is committed to supporting every child’s social-emotional well-being and academic growth in a safe, welcoming environment.
Our mission is to create a place where students and staff discover their strengths, advocate for one another, strive toward both academic and personal goals, and develop a true love of learning at their own pace. This year, we are especially focused on strengthening reading and math fluency and building intentional writing skills.
We believe the elementary years are the foundation for lifelong learning, and daily attendance plays a big role in student success. While we understand that some absences are unavoidable, missing too much school, no matter the reason, can cause students to fall behind. Research shows that when students miss 10% or more of the school year, their academic progress is at risk.
